The Anglican Mission in England (AMiE) will hold its first ordination service led by the newly consecrated Missionary Bishop, Andy Lines. According to the AMiE, the event will take place on 7th December in London and will be a celebration of the commissioning and sending out of nine new ministers “who have gone through a process of rigorous discernment and training”. GAFCON, a worldwide group of conservative Anglicans, consecrated Bishop Andy as missionary bishop to Europe in June. His responsibility was to cater for traditional Anglicans in Scotland, England and across Europe that disagreed with the Scottish Episcopal Church’s decision to allow gay weddings.
